Caloorie — Account and Data Deletion Request

As the Caloorie app, developed by Namadosoft, we attach great importance to the privacy and data security of our users. You have the right to delete the account you created in our app and the data linked to this account at any time.

To delete your account and data, you can use one of the following methods:

⚠️ IMPORTANT WARNING: Cancellation of Active Subscriptions

Deleting your account from the Caloorie app or our systems DOES NOT automatically CANCEL the paid subscriptions you have started via the Google Play Store. To avoid unwanted charges, you must manually terminate your subscription via your Google account before deleting your account.

To Cancel Your Google Play Subscription:

  • Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device.

  • Tap your Profile icon in the top right corner.

  • Go to Payments and subscriptions > Subscriptions.

  • Select Caloorie from the list and tap the Cancel subscription button. (Note: Even if you cancel your subscription, you can continue to use the Pro/Paid features of the app until the end of the current billing period you have paid for.)

 

1. In-App Account Deletion (Fastest Method)

  • Open the Caloorie app and log in to your account.

  • Go to the Profile or Settings section.

  • Tap the Delete My Account option.

  • Complete your process by confirming the confirmation step that appears.

 

2. Submitting a Request via Web or Email

If you have uninstalled the app from your phone or cannot access it, you can forward your account deletion request directly to us:

  • Application via Email: You can send an email to info@caloorie.com from your registered email address with the subject "Caloorie Account Deletion Request".

  • After your request reaches us, confirmation will be requested from you for security verification purposes, and then the deletion process will be initiated.

 

Deleted and Retained Data Types

When your account deletion request is approved, the following actions are applied to your data:

  • Permanently Deleted Data:

    • Personal Information: Profile information linked to the account, such as your name, surname, and email address.

    • In-App Usage and Health Data: Recorded calorie history, diet logs, consumption data, goals, analysis results, and all images/photos you have uploaded to the app are completely deleted from our systems in an irreversible manner.

  • Temporarily Retained / Anonymized Data:

    • Legal Obligations: Billing data, such as financial transactions or subscription purchases, are stored in our secure systems solely to be presented to legal authorities during the relevant legislation and legal retention periods (typically 5 to 10 years according to local laws). This data can absolutely not be used for marketing or operational purposes.

    • Technical Logs: Crash reports (crash logs) and analytical data used to improve app performance may continue to be retained by making them completely independent from users (anonymized). Identification can in no way be made from this data.

 

Data Deletion Timeframe

Following your account deletion request, all your data that is not legally required to be retained is completely cleared from our servers within 30 days at the latest.
